Farewell to Terrington Hall

Sophie and Will have had a few sad days, saying bye to their Terrington Hall friends. Sophie sang in the choir at the Eve of Speech Day Concert on Thursday night and both were very sad on Friday in the lead up to Speech Day and their final farewells. Thank you to all the Terrington Hall staff and families for making us feel so welcome!

The pack up is nearly over. Last Wednesday, John went down to St Neots to see Tony and Jackie and to drop off some gear that we won't need for the next few months - tennis racquets, running shoes and umbrellas. I walked along some of the trails to the north of the school and took photos looking back across Terrington. Thursday was a day to organising for Europe. On Friday, John and I went to Bridlington, Flamborough and then had lunch at Filey before I had a cuppa with some school mums (thank you!) and attended Speech Day. We all went to Darby Forest (Go Ape and mountain bike hire) on Saturday for some fun as a distraction from the farewells and Will caught up with a school friend for a play at the local park today. Pizza for dinner tonight, followed by the football on TV (Portugal v's France).
