Loch Ness monster and bagpipes

After travelling to Scotland on Monday, a day in Edinburgh on Tuesday and our first day of tour yesterday, we headed west. One of Will's teachers had promised a 100 pounds if Sophie and Will provided evidence of the Loch Ness monster - so, they tried their hardest to prove that she exists!

The advantage of the tour was the ongoing commentary and an easy way to access some of the key sights with limited time. A cruise on Loch Ness and visit to Urquhart Castle on the Loch was a highlight. We heard the terrible stories of the battle at Glencoe where we listed to the bagpipes and took a quick look at Ben Nevis, where soldiers were performing a ceremony at the war memorial.
